FLAT FEES FIXED FEE includes filing fee, one certified copy, and notice to employer on wage order for child support, all attorney and paralegal time, all copies, postage, and in-person notary services. All other costs are paid by the client.
If children are involved, the fixed fee does not include a request for no child support and deviation from the Texas Standard Possession Order. The fixed fee contemplates Texas presumptions as to Child Support, Conservatorship, and Possession and Access to Children.
Should you wish to deviate from the presumptions, our firm will require you to attend mediation to put your agreement in a mediated settlement agreement. A mediated settlement agreement must be entered by a Texas Judge unless there is family violence. A Texas judge may decline to sign your final agreement if you have substantial deviations from Texas Standard Presumptions.
